
An expanding insurance call centre has started to create
UK jobs and intends to take on 60 sales advisers and at least five managers by the end of June, according to one newspaper.
The Halifax Evening Courier reported that the Swintoncall centre in Mixenden, Halifax, is looking for the new workers after an influx of sales increased demands for its services.
Price changes to existing products are said to be behind the sudden influx of interest the company is seeing and new products. such as health and dental cover have also been successful.
"It is great news for the company and for the staff, whose earning potential has significantly increased. Halifax is home to one of Swinton's biggest call centres," said Kelly Ogley, Swinton's director of call centres.
