Around 1,000 jobs could be created in South Yorkshire when an online fashion store moves to the county.
ASOS, which currently bases itself in Hemel Hempstead, will move to a 500,000 sq ft warehouse on Park Spring Road, Barnsley in early 2011.
As well as the newly created jobs, ASOS has said that its staff are welcome to transfer to the new site, while Unilever, the firm which runs logistics for the fashion store, will try to find other positions for workers in Hemel Hempstead.
"We now need a considerably larger distribution centre to provide capacity for the future both in the UK and our expansion overseas. Logistics have been critical to our business and the team at the distribution centre at Hemel has been at the centre of our success," said a spokesperson for ASOS.
According to figures released by ASOS, record sales have put it on target to hit £1 billion by 2015.
